Certified Painting Professionals is a family owned business that operates in Collinsville, IL and the Greater St. Louis area. To begin our journey, we founded the company in the summer of 2017 and are excited by how quickly we are growing. From the beginning we have a customer-centric mindset, always putting our customers first. As a rule, we believe our customers are the backbone of our business. Therefore, we strive to do excellent work that would make you, the customer, proud. As a result, we believe that has been the driving force behind our growth and success. We feel our customer’s happiness, and satisfaction are the most critical aspect of our company!
How We Got Started
Certified Painting Professionals was founded in 2017 by a Couple in the Collinsville Illinois area (right outside of Saint Louis Missouri). Certified Painting Professionals began on June, during a hot summer night when the owner, Meho Besic, was contemplating his life decisions. The problem was, Meho was not happy working in an office and had always dreamed of starting his own painting business. Meho grew up painting with his father and found it to be relaxing and enjoyable and often wanted to go back to painting. The main concern Meho had with leaving the corporate world was providing for his wife and dog. What if painting didn’t work out? What if I fail?
Luckily, for Meho, he had the support of his wife to take this journey. So, together, they decided the best thing for Meho was to leave the corporate world to chase his dreams to become a painter. Soon after, they begin working immediately to make Meho’s vision into a reality. The exact date was June 29, 2017, when the journey as Certified Painting Professionals began.
Since that day, the owners of Certified Painting Professionals has worked every day towards the dream of having their business become one of the best painting company in the Greater Saint Louis area.
Here we are, a year and a half later, and we can honestly say that we are so thankful for our customers for giving us the opportunity to help make our dreams into a reality. Each and every customer means the world to us! We want to thank you!

The Family Behind Certified Painting Professionals
Since we are a family owned and operated company, means every member plays their own role in helping the business grow from the owner to our mascot. For instance, Meho Besic is always putting in long hours overseeing the operation to ensure everything runs smoothly. Next, you have the amazing, Miss Lulu Bear, who is the company mascot. For the most part, Miss Lulu Bear is motivating and encouraging the staff with constant joy. Lastly, you have Sara Beisc, the wife who assists with all Marketing and Financing. Together with each member working side-by-side to help keep the business running smoothly.
